Flying a drone is not simply taking an aircraft typically seen for recreational purposes and moving a few joysticks and flying around. Operating a drone, especially of the caliber that these drones operate at, requires more than a surface-level interest. As a matter of fact, the drones utilized at Vertical Reach require industry licensing and certification under guidelines provided and enforced by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

As such, I am an FAA-certified Remote Aircraft pilot operating under Part 107.

Flying a drone, just as with any aircraft, comes with inherent risk that can be mitigated with experience, proper training, and responsible operation. Nevertheless, it's always nice to have a little added peace of mind sitting in your back pocket should any unforeseen moments arise. Therefore, all operations performed by Vertical Reach are insured, with comprehensive liability coverage up to $1M.*

Generically speaking, there are height limitations for commercial drone operations. And while these do not usually overlap with commercial flights or other aircraft, drone flight does occupy airspace that is subject to FAA compliance. Therefore, all flight plans for any project will be thoroughly reviewed for compliance with local airspace regulations, and should approval be necessary, this requirement will be relayed to you, the client, in a timely fashion. However, under no circumstances will drone operations be conducted without granted approval, if required, or in geographic areas designated as no-fly zones or that are under regulated airspace that is restricted and/or controlled beyond the height approved by the FAA.**

Certain unknowns present themselves when it comes to operations that rely upon variables outside of our control. Of these include weather conditions, airspace permissions, and unforeseen circumstances that arise as a part of this journey of life. Whether weather grounds us, or airspace approvals become constricting based on project location, or either party of the project contract encounters a sudden change in plans due to life's ebbs and flows, we will do our best to ensure all hopes are still met. Weather can be approached with prayer, approvals can be hoped for in kindness, and life can be the glass half full perspective, but guarantees can only go so far. So work with us, and we will do all we can to work with you.

Once project quotes have been mutually agreed upon and the site visit planned, it is expected that the date will remain in effect unless due to unknowns mentioned herein. Last-minute cancellations within 24 hours of site visit without justifiable cause will be subjected to a 15% incurred cancellation fee (15% of quoted project cost). This is not out of syphoning money due to changes in mindsets, but scheduling requires time of both parties, investment by both parties, and coordination of both parties. This incurred fee is more so of an incentive to encourage appreciation and respect for everyone involved. So if changes have to be made closer to project commencement, simply give the ample time that both sides deserve (> 24 hours).

Upon completion and receipt of deliverables as described in the quote, payment terms will be NET-7 from deliverance of invoice. NET-7 indicates that the net balance remaining on the project will be due in full within the given timeframe of 7 calendar days from the date of invoice receipt. Payment conditions will be stated on the project invoice and supersede all other payment conditions unless explicitly written and conveyed by Vertical Reach to the client in writing. Breach of payment terms will result in a 3% late payment fee assessed to the NET value of the original invoice in non-compounding fashion on the first day of every 7 calendar days past due date.
